You are going to enjoy the shades of reds in the wood layers of this pen. Some shimmer like wet blood, some shimmer in light pink innocence, while other layers are just very dark and all red. As you twist top and bottom to extend the refill, the layers realign themselves for your enjoyment. Lovely to play with. And if you do get the pen back into the Little Black Box it arrived in, why, you'll be all set to give it away.
